What is the Kryos Health Cryoscreen and why do we use it here at Cryogenix in Palm Harbor?
The Cryoscreen is an advanced targeted Cryotherapy device for immediate pain and inflammation relief. The sessions are very quick and would be no longer than 2 minutes!
This device has a uniquely fitted thermal imaging camera to provide real time treatment management by measuring the temperature of a specific area of the body. The screen on the device visually displays specific spots of inflammation by showing the colorimetry status of the area.
How does the Cryoscreen work?
The science behind the Cryoscreen revolves around the application of pressurized medical CO2 gas that also delivers an intense cold therapy.
A very fast and dramatic drop in the surface temperature of the skin causes a “Thermal Shock” that when combined with the pressure, produces many physiological benefits using the body’s own natural resources to help fight extreme pain and promote faster healing.
The thermal shock is activated in only a few moments and triggers a central neurological response that once achieved, your cutaneous receptors send a signal to the brain.
